Well Noblegarden kicked off a few hours ago, not sure what it is head over to Wowhead for a quick run down, while not one of the gold making seasonal events there is still some gold to be had.

First up Mage transportation services are obvious, but not a huge gold maker.

Probably the best item will be the pet. The rest of the items that are drop/needed do not sell that well on a majority of servers. Having said that check you server.

The Spring Rabbit’s Foot this year is BOE so it can be sold in the AH. Given they are fairly easy to obtain do not expect the prices to remain high, on some server they are still over 1000g but most have dropped to a few hundred.

However if you get a few and hold on to them for a few months you might make a bit of gold.

The Swift Springstrider is the new mount for Noblegarden (BOP) and requires either 500 chocolate eggs or to be luck on a drop from the Brightly Colored Eggs, so expect a bit of time in collecting this.

Well first up overall I am now at about 240K in gold, significant jump in the last few months.

Pets

I have been lucky enough to sell a few high value pets in the last couple of months (I also accidentally used on on my bank alt):

• Tiny Emerald Whelpling - bought for 6.2K sold 13K
• Mechanical Chicken - Ran an alt around for 2 hours got the pet, sold 11.6K
• Festival Lantern 9K
• Ravasuar Hatchling 807g

Gems

Also been a bit lucky on this. While I did not participate in the 4.3 gem fest as much as some, basically I had no stock and the ore market went crazy. I have been selling a reasonable number of inferno’s to keep things interesting. Was also lucky enough to double my gold on a Delicate Queen’s Garnet.

The rest of my shuffle output has also netted a tidy sum.

Darkmoon Faire

As we start the Darkmoon Faire again I realised I had collected a number of items during my dungeon runs. (Keeping 4 85’s VP capped each week does that.) So this month I listed them all and made about 5K in 24 hours, big sellers were three A Treatise on Strategy which went for about 650g each.

Tailoring

I leveled a tailor and while I had to purchase most of the mats, everything I made was turn into dust and resold. The neat thing here is I am now into the bag market and the Embersilk Bags are selling very nicely.

Dust & Essence

While when I do the shuffle I get lots and lots of dust, essence and shards my daily dungeon runs and general playing has resulted in some very nice sales. Greater Celestial Essence was my 8th highest seller over the last couple of months.

BOE epics

Be if VP/JP gear or Twilight Hour drops or my many runs of Molten Core I have sold a significant amount (for me that is) of epics in the last 2 months, about 6K worth.

Today is my first attempt at flipping, let’s hope if doesn’t go bad :)

I saw 2 Mekgineer’s Choppers on the AH for 10,800g, below cost by about 4000g. Now you can reduce the price of the mats by farming with an Engineering but that still will not remove all of the costs. Anyway given I want one, and in fact had just parked my Engineering outside of Ulduar to farm some mats. So given I was waiting for some to raid with and they were nice and cheap on the AH I decided to buy 2.

The first went to my main, a rogue, the other back up on the AH for 15,500g to try and cover some of the costs.

It all could go badly but you never know.

Update: Sold within 12 hours :), meaning it cost me about 5K for a Chopper.

I play WoW, and I make gold in Wow,I have been thinking of starting a blog about WoW and gold. But that is a topic of later discussion.

Today I opened The Undermine Journal to be presented with an amazing list of blog posts on the same subject. Initially I thought what the…! But then lots of White Ribbon’s hmmm, something is going on.

Before I go further the little gold community has been a bit inward focused of late, there are lots of reason, but today it shows that there a people behind those blogs, rumours and comments. People who care.

A week or so ago a prominent female blogger from the UK was gang raped by 5 men. She initially posted about it and many seemed to miss it, including me. However it seems an observant one over at the Consortium and organised a movement within the community. So here I am participating.
